Standouts from Duke, Kansas and Missouri headlined the group of finalists for the Wooden Award given annually to the country's most outstanding player.

The committee that selects the award trimmed its list to 25 names, released Thursday.

The Blue Devils, Jayhawks and Tigers each had two players survive the cut, making them the only schools with multiple players still remaining.

Headlining the group is Duke forward Mason Plumlee, who averages 17.7 points and 11.4 rebounds for the top-ranked and undefeated Blue Devils. Duke guard Seth Curry also is on the list.
