Pictures Of The Day

Word out of the capitol of the free world is that RG3 may have sustained additional tears to two knee ligaments on Sunday.  The Heisman Trophy winner and NFL Rookie of the Year candidate is in Florida getting another MRI done by renown ortho Dr. James Andrews, who did or didn’t examine Griffin and did or didn’t advise head coach Mike Shanahan on Sunday (or any other previous Sunday, depending on who you ask). We will save any scathing criticism of Shenanigan-han for not removing the obviously injured Griffin, who clearly was having trouble running and throwing, immediately when it became clear he couldn’t run or throw effectively.  RG3 not being able to run or throw effectively makes him awfully similar to RG1.  Enough said.  Game over. Go home. (Win McNamee/Getty Images North America)
In a completely unrelated sports mini-miracle, the Washington Wizards upset the Oklahoma Thunder last night when Bradley Beal made a jumper with 0.3 seconds left Monday night. (ESPN.com)
