Curry Injures Ankle But Likely To Play

(Chuck Liddy/Raleigh News & Observer)
According to the Raleigh News & Observer: Seth Curry suffered a slight left ankle sprain in Saturday's loss to N.C. State, but he should be ready to go for Duke's next game, head coach Mike Krzyzewski said on the weekly ACC coaches teleconference.

Curry slipped on a wet spot on the floor and crumpled to the ground in pain with 3:14 remaining in Saturday's game. He did not return, and he finished with a team-high 22 points.

There wasn't much swelling in his ankle, Krzyzewski said. Curry won't practice today, but he should be ready for Thursday's game against Georgia Tech "unless something else happens," Krzyzewski said.

When Duke (15-1, 2-1 in the ACC) does take the floor next, it will be as the No. 3 team in the AP Poll, behind Louisville and Indiana.
