According to the USA Today, Kentucky’s John Calipari visited Randle and made a big deal out of his National Championship ring.

Not to be outdone, Ol’ Roy paid the Texas senior a visit with a case holding 30 rings from when the Tar Heels won the the title in 2005 and 2009 along with other rings from various Final Fours and ACC tournaments.

Carolyn Kyles, Randle’s mother,  told the paper, “Yeah, coach Williams was ready for coach Cal with those rings. He got him there.
