Former NBA star Stephon Marbury (by way of Georgia Tech) led the Beijing Ducks to their first ever Chinese Championship scoring 41 points while defeating the Guangdong Tigers 124-121.  Following a somewhat tumultuous NBA career, Marbury is thriving in China.  Marbury, who had trouble getting along with his coaches, does have a soft side donating $250,000 to 911 victims in 2001, over $500,000 to Hurricane Katrina victims in 2005 and $4 million -- $1 million each to New York City’s police, fire, rescue and City Teacher’s Fund in 2007.
