Overall Bragging Rights

Florida State is the highest ranking ACC team in the Director’s Cup according to a release from the the NACDA. The Directors’ Cup measures the overall excellence of NCAA Division I collegiate athletic programs.

The Noles log in behind Stanford, Ohio State and Penn State. Three more Big Ten schools – Wisconsin (No. 7), Minnesota (No. 9) and Michigan (No. 10) are included among the top 10 teams in the rankings.

Directors’ Cup standings:

No. 8 - North Carolina
No. 13 – Duke
No. 22 – Virginia
No. 26 – Virginia Tech
No. 27 – Maryland
No. 33 – Boston College
No. 47 – N.C. State
No. 57 – Miami
No. 65 – Clemson
No. 76 – Wake Forest
No. 128 – Georgia Tech

The final rankings will be determined in the summer, after the spring sports season ends.
