Gottfried is expecting a fast-paced game and knows that avoiding foul trouble, while putting pressure on the Kansas big men, could alter the outcome of the game.
The Wolfpack have prided themselves on balanced scoring and can win playing different styles of game.
"Here we find ourselves in the Sweet 16 and I think we are a team that is far from being done," Gottfried said.
Gottfried said the players had to believe in themselves again, and winning always helps in that cause. He also credits the maturity of players such as sophomore power forward C.J. Leslie and junior center Richard Howell.
