Nothing Says Cancer Research Like A Sharp Dressed Man

Every year we advocate the support of the V Foundation for Cancer Research. As most know it was bounded in 1993 by ESPN and the late Jim Valvano of N.C. State National Championship fame.  The foundation has raised more than $120 million to fund cancer research, and their latest fundraiser has a fashion twist.

The V Foundation and PVH.Corp has released the the inaugural V Ties Collection which will spotlight seven different sports legends: Jim Valvano, Jerry Rice, Bobby Orr, Dick Vitale, Chris Berman, Coach K and Mario Andretti.

Each tie will represent something unique about each person. For Jim Valvano, the tie has an image of the victory “V” that Jim would do after every win. Dick Vitale’s Diaper Dandy Tie has a diaper on a basketball, and Coach K’s has a little bitty, teeny tiny f-bomb worked into the pattern (just kidding!) has a, drum roll, please, K.
You can find the V Ties Collection starting February 15th in more than 400 stores nationwide and online.  For more information about where to purchase the The V Foundation Neckwear Collection, please visit
