“Just Disbelief”

(Robert Willett/Raleigh News & Observer)
“Just disbelief. We had a position, got an opportunity to win that game. And we didn’t come through. I missed a lot of shots I usually make. And big-time players come through in big-time games. And it just wasn’t there tonight.”

Harrison Barnes, when asked after sitting in front of his locker with a towel over his head for 17 minutes after the loss to Kansas, on what he was thinking about all that time…

Barnes wasn’t alone in missing shots. The Heels began the game by making 11 of their first 13 shots from the field. But after the hot start, they only made 17 of their final 51 shots (33.3 percent).
