Duke’s Kelly Has Surgery On Right Foot

Duke's Ryan Kelly will be shut down for 6-8 weeks after undergoing surgery on his sprained right foot.

School officials said Kelly had the procedure doneTuesday at the Duke Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Kelly sprained his foot March 6 during a practice before the ACC tournament. He missed the Blue Devils' three postseason games, including an upset loss to Lehigh last week in their NCAA tournament opener.

The 6’11” Kelly averaged 11.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and one blocked shot while starting 19 of 31 games.
