We aren’t going to
enter the debate about Gov. Chris Christie’s decision to fly New Jersey’s flags
at half-mast in honor of Whitney Houston other than to say we always thought
that was an “honor” reserved for those who made a great sacrifice or amassed a
career of service that benefited the state in question or all of the good old
USA. We presume, Christie is taking
political cover from Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett who flew the Keystone state’s
flags at half-staff in honor of Joe Paterno.
We came across the
