Like Elvins, another Maryland Terrapin has left the
building.
So if you are counting, not that you would be, that makes
eight.
The latest is receiver Adrian
Coxson, who has decided not to return to the football team in 2012,
according to a school spokesman. Coxson, a redshirt freshman, will be granted
his release and indicated he will transfer at the end of this semester.
“We appreciate everything that Adrian has done for us and
hope everything works out for him in his future endeavors,” coach Randy Edsall
said in a prepared statement.
Starting to sound familiar isn’t it?
Coxson, who transferred from Florida prior to the 2010
season, played in nine games this past season, all as a reserve wideout and on
special teams. He had four receptions for 90 yards with one touchdown.
