Careful With That Gift Bag, Eugene

The SportsBusiness Journal compiled a list of the bowl gifts given to the players this year, and ESPN’s Heather Dinich took the liberty of ranking them from best to gee thanks. The BCS bowls deliver the spotlight, but they come up a bit short under the tree. Here's a look at who's getting the hair dryer (just can't see Paul Johnson using one of those) and who's getting the shopping sprees:

Champs Sports Bowl (Florida State): $420 shopping trip to a local Best Buy, Timely Watch Co. watch

Belk Bowl (N.C. State): Estimated $400 shopping trip to Belk’s flagship store in Charlotte, Fossil watch

Chick-fil-A Bowl (Virginia): $250 Best Buy gift card, Fossil watch, Russell Athletic ski cap, Russell Athletic travel bag, $15 Chick-fil-A gift card, commemorative football

Hyundai Sun Bowl (Georgia Tech): Gift suite, Timely Watch Co. watch, Majestic Pro-Base fleece pullover, VP Sports cap, Ogio Politan backpack, Helen of Troy hair dryer, souvenir coin

AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl (North Carolina): Gift suite, Timely Watch Co. watch, New Era cap, commemorative football

Allstate Sugar Bowl (Virginia Tech): Gift suite, Reactor watch, New Era cap, Majestic fleece pullover

Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl (Wake Forest): Gift suite, Reactor watch

Discover Orange Bowl (Clemson): Gift suite, Tourneau watch
