Scott scored a game-high 17 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in Virginia’s 67-54 victory at Oregon Sunday. The Chesapeake, Va., senior was 5-of-7 (.714) from the field and a perfect 7-for-7 from the throw line. Scott scored 13 points and had eight rebounds in the second half as the Cavaliers came back from a 30-28 halftime deficit to hand Oregon its’ first home loss of the season.
Jackson scored a career-high 26 points and had five rebounds and a steal to lead Boston College past Bryant, 75-55, Sunday. The Valencia, Calif., freshman was 8-for-13 (.615) from the field, including a 7-for-11 (.636) mark from beyond the arc. Jackson became the first Boston College player to hit seven 3-pointers in a game since Tyrese Rice did it against North Carolina on March 1, 2008.
