N.C. STATE 60, Princenton (Tigers, 5, 113 students, Princeton, NJ) 58 – DeShawn Painter's turnaround jumper from the top of the key with 4.2 seconds remaining capped NC State's comeback win over Princeton at the RBC Center.

WAKE FOREST 81, Georgia Southern (Eagles, 17,525 students, Statesboro, GA) 72 – The Demon Deacons Wake Forest was held in check early, but 20-point games from both sophomore Travis McKie and junior C.J. Harris provided enough firepower to take down Georgia Southern in Winston-Salem.
