Duke Wins Again, Still No Fighting (Damn It!)

Kudos to this UAE Wahoo fan.
Juniors Andre Dawkins and Mason Plumlee combined for 37 points and 22 rebounds as Duke wrapped up an undefeated foreign tour with an 86-66 victory over the United Arab Emirates National Team on Thursday night.

Really?  UAE?  Rich, but small. Very small.  As Arthur once so elegantly said  UAE is “a tiny little country. Rhode Island could beat the crap out of it in a war.”

Austin Rivers added 16 points for the Blue Devils. Seth Curry contributed 10 points, six rebounds, three assists and four steals, while freshman Alex Murphy added nine points and four rebounds.

Al Zaabi Rashad led UAE with 14 points, while Omar Qais grabbed a team-high seven rebounds for the hosts.

The victory over UAE completed Duke's four-game, two-nation Friendship Games tour. The Blue Devils defeated the Chinese Olympic Team in each of the tour's first three contests. The Blue Devils are scheduled to arrive back in Durham on Saturday morning to an adoring crowd of K’villians.
