According to the Palm Beach Post and others, the University of Miami and ESPNU are discussing a 30-minute special that would be a behind-the-scenes look at the Hurricanes during football practice in August.
The proposed show, a college football version of HBO's Hard Knocks, is part of coach Al Golden's effort to increase the visibility of UM's football program.
It's unclear when that program would run.
Currently, fans wanting a closer look at the Hurricanes will get that chance this month when ESPNU airs three programs - as part of the network's College Football Spring Blitz - that include all-access videos of UM practices and scrimmages this spring.
On Thursday, at 4:30 p.m. ESPNU will show a re-edited version of the Hurricanes' first spring practice under Golden.
The Hurricanes' first scrimmage, which took place at Spanish River High in Boca Raton two weeks ago, will be spotlighted on ESPNU at 4:30 p.m. on April 21.
Wrapping up ESPNU's inside look at UM's program will be a feature scheduled to air 4:30 p.m. on April 28 that highlights UM's spring game scheduled for Saturday at Fort Lauderdale's Lockhart Stadium.
