Pictures Of The Day

CRAPGANISTAN.  Horses and riders play buzkashi during a competition as part of Navruz festivities near Dushanbe, Tajikistan.  Buzkashi is an ancient game played on horseback that is similar to equine rugby.  Biggest difference is that instead of a ball they use a goat carcass.  Nice, Buzkashi, NICE! CRAPGANISTAN PART 2.  Two camels challenge each other during a camel-fighting contest in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan. (Insert Michael Vick joke here.) (Photo by Mustafa Najafizada/AP Photos)
CAREFUL FELLAS, THE LAST IS A BIT TRICKY.  Basford Bob ridden by jockey, Alan O'Keeffe (L) clear the last hurdle to win the You Can't Lose - Skyline Roofing Novices' Hurdle race from Lion On The Prowl (R) at Kempton racecourse on March 22, 2011 in Sunbury, England.  (Photo by Julian Herbert/Action Images/
SAFETY FIRST?  A helicopter hovers as Australian V8 (the engine, not the vegetable drink) Supercar champion Craig Lowndes takes a practice lap in another dude’s car in an “exchange event” at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Australia.  At the conclusion of the event everyone when surfing with sharks.  (Photo by Vue Images/EPA)
