LEAGUE RANKINGS

1. Duke (16-1, 3-1) – Four of the next five games are on the road. (1)
2. Florida State (13-5, 3-1) – Bernard James scored a career-high 16 points in Saturday’s win over North Carolina State. (6)
3. Virginia Tech (11-5, 2-2) – The Hokies are looking more and more like an NCAA tournament team. (3)
4. Boston College (13-5, 3-1) – Four players are averaging double figures in scoring. (4)
5. North Carolina (12-5, 2-1) – Will things snowball on the Tar Heels? (2)
6. Maryland (11-6, 1-2) – The Terrapins lost a 12-point, second-half lead in Saturday’s 74-66 setback against Villanova. (5)
7. Clemson (13-4, 2-1) – The Tigers have won eight games in a row. (8)
8. Georgia Tech (8-8, 1-2) – Iman Shumpert is a North Carolina killer. He scored 30 points Sunday. (11)
9. Miami (12-5, 1-2) – Backup center Julian Gamble came up with a huge block in the waning seconds of Saturday’s 72-71 victory over Boston College. (9)
