ACC In The NFL

Matt Ryan
This is a new feature at T.A.H. We love ACC football and we love the NFL so why not combine the two?

Last weekend:

Atlanta QB Matt Ryan (Boston College) threw for 316 yards and 3 TDs, including the game winner with :20 left in the game, as the Falcons downed Baltimore 26-12.

Houston QB Matt Schaub (Virginia) tossed for 314 yards and 2TDs, one to WR Andre Johnson (Miami), but the Texans lost on a Hail Mary pass at the final gun in Jacksonville 24-31.

Seattle LB Aaron Curry (Wake Forest) recorded 2 sacks, 7 tackles and 1 forced fumble as the Seahawks
doubled up the Cardinals 36-18.
Frank Gore
Lions WR Calvin Johnson (Georgia Tech) caught 10 balls for 128 yards and 1 TD in a losing cause against Buffalo.

Baltimore WR Anquan Boldin (Florida State) caught his 50th career TD in the 21-26 loss at Atlanta.

The Hurricane Effect: Colts RB Javarris James (Miami), Bears TE Greg Olsen (Miami), Bears WR/KR Devin Hester (Miami), Bucs TE Kellen Winslow Jr. (Miami), 49ers RB Frank Gore (Miami) and Texans WR Andre Johnson (Miami) each scored a TD—extending the streak to 132 straight weeks in which at least one former Miami Hurricane scored a TD in NFL regular-season play.
