ACC Football Saturday

MARYLAND @ MIAMI (-7.5), Miami Gardens, Fla.,12:00 PM, TV: ESPNU (XM 191/SIRIUS 213) – If Ralph is gonna get a “signature win” this season this may be the spot against a beat up Miami team playing without their first string RB or QB in front of a small crowd in their bright, shiny new stadium. These two haven’t played each other since 2006.

N.C. STATE @ CLEMSON (-3.5), Clemson, S.C., 12:00 PM, ACC Network Affiliates
TV: ACC Network (XM 192/SIRIUS 214) – The Textile Bowl is the best game of the day as the Wolfpack’s high powered offense led by Russell Wilson runs smack into Clemson’s staunch defense. Boys in Vegas like the Tigers, but…

VIRGINIA (-1) @ DUKE, Durham, N.C.,12:00 PM, TV: ESPN3.com (XM 190/SIRIUS 212) – If Virginia’s defense could stifle Miami with five picks, surely they can stonewall the Blue Devils. Duke has won the last two and that sticks in every Wahoo’s craw.

BOSTON COLLEGE (-3) @ WAKE FOREST, Winston-Salem, N.C., 3:30 PM, TV: ESPN3.com (XM 190/SIRIUS 212) – Wake Forest probably won’t be able to stop Montel Harris and that should be the long and short of this.

NORTH CAROLINA @ FLORIDA STATE (-10.5), Tallahassee, Fla., 3:30 PM, TV: ABC (XM 191/192) (SIRIUS 213) – The still short-handed Heels are up against it here. The Noles are angry after losing to N.C. State last Thursday and their record in Tallahassee against UNC is somewhat unblemished at 8-0-1. Overall, FSU is 15-1-1- in the last seventeen games v. Heels. Advantage, Florida State which hasn’t lost to UNC since 2001.
