Georgia Tech’s Favors First Drafted From ACC

For the what seems like the millionth year in a row, the ACC has had one of its hoopster selected in the first round of the NBA Draft held last night in New York.

3rd - Derrick Favors, GT - NJ Nets

8th - Al-Farouq Aminu, Wake Forest - LA Clippers

13th - Ed Davis, North Carolina - Toronto Raptors

23rd - Trevor Booker, Clemson - Minnesota Timberwolves (*traded to Washington)

28th - Greivis Vasquez, Maryland - Memphis Grizzlies

NBA Draft – Second-Round Selections

46th - Gani Lawal, Georgia Tech - Phoenix Suns

50th - Solomon Alibi, Florida State - Dallas Mavericks (*traded to Toronto)

57th - Ryan Reid, Florida State - Indiana Pacers

60th – Dwayne Collins, Miami – Pheonix Suns.
