Based on logic that escapes us, the NFL owners (whose brain trust's track record is pretty damn good) have decided that the The New Meadowlands Stadium, as seen here on May 25, 2010 in East Rutherford, New Jersey, is the best place to hold the 2014 Super Bowl.

Had the 2010 Super Bowl been played in East Rutherford on the first Sunday in February, the game would have looked like this.

What fun.

Evidenlty, they have studied the always reliable "1,445 day" forecast and things are looking good for Super Sunday 2014.

Nice, NFL owners, NICE!
