All-purpose running back, receiver and kick returner, C.J. Spiller was the first ACC football player selected in the 2010 NFL draft last night. Spiller is headed off to Buffalo where, among other culture shocks, he will find weather substantially cooler than he’s used to in South Carolina. In all likelihood, the multi-talented Spiller will see instant action in Chan Gailey’s offense.

ACC in the first round of the NFL draft:

9 – BUFFALO – C.J. Spiller, RB, 5'11, 195 – CLEMSON

16 – TENNESSEE – Derrick Morgan, DE, 6’4, 270 – GEORGIA TECH

22 – DENVER – Demarvius Thomas, WR, 6’3, 229 – GEORGIA TECH

32 – NEW ORLEANS – Patrick Robinson, CB, 5’11, 194 – FLORIDA STATE
