Duke will defend its ACC title as the No. 1 seed in the ACC Tournament. The Blue Devil's win Saturday also established the seeds for Maryland (2) and Virginia (9).

Duke and Maryland both finished 13-3 and split the regular-season series. Duke's season sweep of Clemson, and Maryland's season split with the Tigers, provided the tiebreaker in the ACC's "best win" system.

Florida State (3) and Virginia Tech (4) received the other two byes.

Thursday's schedule:
No. 8 Boston College vs. No. 9 Virginia, noon
No. 5 Wake Forest vs. No. 12 Miami, 2
No. 7 Georgia Tech vs. No. 10 UNC, 7
No. 6 Clemson vs. No. 11 N.C. State, 9

Friday's schedule:
No. 1 Duke vs. BC-UVa winner, noon
No. 4 Virginia Tech vs. Wake-Miami winner, 2
No. 2 Maryland vs. GT-UNC winner, 7
No. 3 vs. Clemson-State winner, 9
