North Carolina is the only 2009 tournament team struggling. No. 1 seeds from last year’s Dance UConn, Pitt and Louisville are all negotiating bumpier roads this season. The Huskies are 4-6 in the Big East (11th) and 14-9 overall. Pittsburgh (7-4, 18-6) and Louisville (6-4, 15-8) are both second tier Big East teams trailing Syracuse (10-1, 23-1), Villanova (10-1, 21-2), West Virginia and Georgetown in the standings.
