BAD CRASH. America's best Olympic ski racer, Lindsey Vonn, crashed Monday at a World Cup giant slalom race in Lienz, Austria. Vonn told the Associated Press, as she boarded an ambulance, that her arm "really hurts" and that she believed it was broken.

However, Dr. Eduard Sporer from the Lienz district hospital said an X-ray and MRI exam revealed only "swelling or edema in the bone" and Vonn could be able to race in the slalom on Tuesday.

Vonn, 25, is the best female skier on the U.S. Olympic team.
