Well…some highlights.

Never let it be said that T.A.H. was above making some sort of half-ass insincere effort to be all things to all people…

*Three ACC teams – Maryland (7th), Virginia (18th) and Virginia Tech (24th) – remained ranked among the nation’s Top 25 by InterMat as action slowed down for exams and the holiday break.

*Seventeen ACC wrestlers are ranked nationally in their respective weight classes, including top-ranked heavyweight Konrad Dudziak of Duke. Other wrestlers ranked among the top 10 in their weight classes include Virginia Tech’s Jarrod Garnett (125), Maryland’s Steve Bell (133), Virginia’s Chris Henrich (174), Maryland’s Mike Letts (174) and Maryland’s Hudson Taylor (197).

*Taylor, who set Maryland records for career wins and pins earlier this season, has already been named ACC Wrestler of the Week twice.

*Maryland earned the first win in ACC dual competition with a 41-0 win over North Carolina on Dec. 4. Conference matches resume after the New Year, beginning with NC State’s match at Duke on Jan. 9.
