The Washington Post has a nice photo essay of star Terp guard Greivis Vasquez. It was shot in Greivis' native Venezuela, and it's particularly pleasant as there is (obviously) no sound track.

Thus, you - loyal reader - will not be burdened with listening to the effusive guard running his yap! You will, however, get plenty of tongue wagging once the regular ACC season get rolling.

Here, family members with Maryland's No. 21 at a party in Caracas. "He has a good chance," former NBA player Oscar Torres says of Vasquez. "But it's not easy ... to play in the NBA because you are Latino and maybe you have 1,000 people in front of you. You have to work hard, very hard."
