THURSDAY LINKS

Posted by ESPN.com's Heather Dinich:

*Can UNC reedem itself on national television tonight? If it does, it's going to need a better performance from quarterback T.J. Yates, who threw a costly interception last week and hasn't been as productive this year.

*Is tonight's game simply an opportunity to see the Hokies pound somebody?

*As long as Virginia Tech doesn't suffer a Georgia Tech hangover, the Hokies still have plenty to play for this year, including another 10-win season and a possible BCS bowl bid.

*Boston College is in the midst of yet another transition, and caught in the middle of it all is running back Montel Harris.

*Florida State's receivers have been much more productive this year, and some of that can be attributed to the discipline that's been instilled in them this year.

*There's a reason Chuck Amato hasn't been a hot topic this week as he prepares to face his former team -- both Amato and NC State have their own problems now.

*Miami quarterback Jacory Harris has no plans on changing his approach, despite throwing a league-leading 10 turnovers this season.

*Clemson's tight ends have gotten more involved in the passing game in recent weeks.

*Georgia Tech's key to winning games this year starts in the second half, where the Jackets string together lengthy drives and really control the clock.

*Here are some ACC/SEC rankings for you, and there are five teams worse than Duke this year.

*Wake Forest enters Saturday's game against Miami searching for more offense. It's disappeared the past two games.
