MONDAY'S ACC LINKS

Posted by ESPN.com's Heather Dinich:

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney has done exactly what the fans have wanted him to so far offensively. The problem is, the Tigers are still getting the same results.

*Georgia Tech kicker Scott Blair was benched on Saturday against UNC, but it's still up in the air if Chris Tanner will be given a shot.

*If Maryland continues to play like it has through the first four games, it will be hard to find the six wins needed for bowl eligibility this year.

*Virginia Tech taught Miami a little lesson about hype. Now with the Hokies' new No. 6 ranking, they've got to heed their own warning.

*FSU coach Bobby Bowden has a checklist he goes over with the team before each game, and the Noles "failed on five of the six."

*The Noles aren't the only ones who have been struggling. Miami isn't quite back yet, writes Shandel Richardson.

*Boston College showed coach Frank Spaziani more leadership and emotion against Wake Forest than he had seen leading up to that game.

*Don't get too excited yet, Wolfpack fans. Tom O'Brien certainly isn't.

*J.P. Giglio has some funny -- and spot-on -- thoughts on the state of the ACC.

*Duke showed improvement in its win over NC Central, and has something to build on this week.

*Who’s worse Maryland or Virginia, and who thinks they can work their way out of the mess they’re in…?
