Or WTF, over?

That Lane Kifin, he’s funny in that crazy sort of way...

For this year’s team picture the Vols went shirtless and gathered around a UT orange Lamborghini (or some such exotic). They also made a video. Never mind the overtly “gayness” of this look, won’t there be some pushback about this photo that shows a muscular young black man (we don’t know who it is, but we’re guessing Safety Eric Berry who the Vols are oddly trumping as a Heisman candidate) leaning up against the car with a GIANT chain around his neck?

No way, they get away with that in South “We have the Confederate Flag flying over the State Capitol” Carolina…

Not to be outdone, Georgia Tech also went with the shirtless theme. Here’s what they had to say about their decision.

Ironhide and Bumblebee come to GT

The Georgia Tech Football team finished their summer voluntary workouts today. For the past few months, the 2009 Yellow Jackets have been pushing themselves to the highest level in preparation for the upcoming season. Each summer, all the hard work is rewarded with their annual summer conditioning poster.

Coach Ciano (GT Head of Strength and Conditioning) develops a theme each year for the poster. In the past, the team has taken the photo with luxury cars, military vehicles, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and even movie themes, like last years poster which was based around the movie “300.” This year, the theme is centered on the summer blockbuster hit, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." Two of the "Autobots" from the film, Ironhide and Bumblebee were present for the photo. It was a very exciting morning!

Here are some shots from this morning's picture.

Hey, we can't make this stuff up.

We presume that's ACC pre-season Player of the Year selection Jonathan Dwyer on the right rearranging his junk and looking not-so-happy about the whole situation.

Photo shoot helpful hint: Keep both hands on the ball...the football.
