D.C. Sports Blog reports some local bigs have dropped a few pounds. The Redskins free agent offensive lineman Mike Williams (Texas) has dropped about 108 pounds edging out Ralph Friedgen who has shed about 105.

Add them up and you’ve got 213 lbs. – a nice free safety.

Meanwhile, Virginia Tech defensive tackle Cordarrow Thompson is at 305, down from 340, leading to this perfect quote from D coordinator Bud Foster: "At one time, gravy used to be a beverage for him."

The Fridge has utilized pre-package food to keep him on his diet. “I have this basket in my office, and I basically eat every three hours. I don’t know what’s in their food, but when I eat it I’m not hungry,” he said. “My goal is to go to 150. Whether I can do that or not, I don’t know. The more I lose, the harder it gets.”
