FOUR ACC TEAMS IN AP TOP 25

Virginia Tech is the highest-ranked ACC team in the preseason AP Top 25, released Friday. The Hokies are No. 7, followed by Georgia Tech (15), Florida State (18) and UNC (21).

Evidently, Ray Ratto, the San Francisco Chronicle columnist, is responsible for all nine of Boston College's points. He ranked BC No. 17.
