BOSTON COLLEGE STILL DOESN'T HAVE A QB

Boston College quarterback David Shinskie, the 25-year-old former minor league pitcher, broke his rib and is listed as doubtful for Tuesday's final two-a-day practice, a school spokesman said.

Shinskie has yet to throw a pass in a college football game, but was becoming the Eagles' best hope at quarterback. He was injured in Sunday's scrimmage when he was tackled by defensive tackle Damik Scafe.

Nice, Damik, NICE!

Shinskie is listed as day-to-day. The Eagles, who have made back-to-back appearances in the ACC championship game the past two seasons, have been searching for a quarterback since last year's part-time starter, Dominique Davis, decided to transfer. Nobody on the roster currently has any experience.
