GOOD DECISION: Acknowledging that the majority of the United States doesn’t get soccer and doesn’t care about soccer (and never will), former Polish President and Solidarity union leader Lech Walesa (r), UEFA President Michel Platini (c) and the president of the Polish Football Association (PZPN), Grzegorz Lato (l), decide to cancel the six zillion games of the 2012 European Championships and just give each other little blue flags with gold fringe.

Blame the economy.
