HOKIES TO PLAY BRONCOS AT FED EX IN 2010

Looking to ever expand their position in the eyes of the BCS, the Virginia Tech Hokies will take on the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos and Hokies will play Oct. 2 at FedEx Field, in the Washington suburb of Landover, Md. Denver will get a payout of $1.25 million to play the Hokies, one of the most successful college football programs in the last decade. The game will be an “unofficial” pre-season game for the Broncos.

Virginia Tech is 100-30 record over the last 10 years, but Vegas odds makers have made the Broncos a 27 point favorite. Should Kyle Orton be unable to play, the boys in Vegas say the line would move to Denver -35...

Say what?

Oh…the Boise State Broncos.

Oops, our bad.

  1. The Hokies have really upgraded thier schedule the last few years. USC, Nebraska, Alabama, LSU and now Boise St recently.

It's what you have to do if want to be a national title contender.
