Double world champion Lindsey Vonn won the women's alpine skiing super-G, an American record 19th World Cup success. Vonn timed 1min 21.72sec to shut out Swiss rival Fabienne Suter and Slovenia's Tina Maze.

Vonn was injured recently when she cut her hand badly on a champagne bottle in a post-race celebration.
