BROTHERS IN ARMS. In this image provided by the US Navy sailors and Marines aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer spell out "Go Navy Beat Army!" on the flight deck to cheer on the midshipmen in the upcoming 109th Army-Navy college football game.

In this file photo taken Oct. 25, 2008, Army football players and brother Ted Bentler (99) and Fritz Bentler (98) talk during a time out during an NCAA college game against Louisiana Tech in West Point, N.Y. Ted Bentler was drawn to West Point in part because Army defensive coordinator John Mumford had made a visit to the family home to recruit Ted's younger brother, Fritz, while Ted was a redshirt sophomore at Iowa.

The Hawkeyes had courted Ted before he was old enough to drive and he had jumped at the chance to stay at home in the Midwest to play a sport he was passionate about. But when Fritz accepted his appointment to West Point in January 2006, the brothers began talking, adn they still are.
