CLEMSON 76, Illinois (Fighting Illini, 42,326 students, Champaign, IL) 74 - Demontez Stitt scored 18 points and Trevor Booker had 16 to lead Clemson (8-0) to their fifth straight win in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Tigers trailed at the half, 40-32, but forced 17 second-half turnovers with their full court press.
Ohio State (Buckeyes, 52,568 students, Columbus, OH) 73, No. 21MIAMI 68 - Ohio State (4-0) erased a 14-point second-half deficit on the back of Ohio school boy all-time leading scorer Jon Diebler (20 points).
