MLB CRICKETER? Why not? After all, the Pittsburg Pirates just signed the winners of the Million Dollar Arm contest held in India to find the best baseball throwing arms in that country. Do Rinku Singh (pictured) and Dinesh Patel really do have million-dollar arms? The two 20-year-old pitchers, neither of whom had picked up a baseball until earlier this year, signed free-agent contracts Monday with the Pirates. They are believed to be the first athletes from India to sign professional sports contracts outside their country.

So why not a batsman? Here, English cricketer Owais Shah plays a shot as Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni looks on during the fourth one-day international between India and England, at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

Couldn't our lowly Nats use a good bat?
