#22 FSU 41, CLEMSON 27

Bobby Bowden doesn't care all that much for birthdays these days.

Winning, now that's something the 79-year-old Florida State coach is always up for celebrating.
Christian Ponder threw for a touchdown and ran for another, Antone Smith ran for two scores, and the 22nd-ranked Seminoles defeated Clemson 41-27 to give Bowden his 380th victory on his 79th birthday. Combined with JoePa losing, it was a nice night for the Bobby B.

ESPN Fast Facts:

• Florida State outscored Clemson 31-17 in the final three quarters and snapped a three-game losing streak vs. the Tigers.

• Bobby Bowden celebrated his 79th birthday with his 380th career victory, which is one behind Penn State's Joe Paterno for the most all-time among FBS coaches.

• The Florida State defense allowed Clemson to convert just two of 15 third downs (13.3 percentage), the fourth time in the last five games an FSU opponent has converted less then 15 percent on third down.
