ACC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Wake Forest's Riley Skinner and Sam Swank headline ACC Players of the Week for Week 2. Skinner led the Demon Deacon offense on a nine play, 57-yard drive to set up Swank for a 41-yard game winning field goal in Wake's 30-28 victory over Mississippi. Joining the Deacon duo are Florida State offensive tackle Rodney Hudson, Georgia Tech defensive tackle Darryl Richard, NC State outside linebacker Nate Irving and Duke wide receiver Johnny Williams.

Skinner earns his second Offensive Back of the week honor by completing a career high 32-of-43 passes for 267 yards against Ole Miss. Hudson earned Offensive Lineman of the Week honors as he helped the Seminoles rush for 290 yards and gain 561 yards of total offense in their 69-0 win over Western Carolina.

Georgia Tech's Richard earned Defensive Lineman of the Week honors with five tackles, three for loss, a forced fumble and a pass breakup in the Yellow Jacket's win over Boston College. The Wolfpack's Irving earned the Defensive Back of the Week award with 13 tackles and two turnovers that led to points.
Irving returned an interception to the William and Mary six-yard line to set up the first NC State touchdown of the season.

Rounding out this week's team is Duke's Williams who earned Rookie of the Week honors. Williams caught 11 passes for 135 yards in the Blue Devil's 24-20 loss to Northwestern.
