Hope you didn’t get up early to find this out.

According to ESPN: A federal judge told prosecutors to redraft their multiple-count indictment of Barry Bonds and ordered the slugger's 2003 grand jury testimony unsealed on Friday.

Among other information contained in the unsealed 149-page court transcript is evidence of an additional positive steroids test beyond the previously reported one in November 2000, sources familiar with the government's evidence told ESPN's T.J. Quinn.

The boys over at SmokingGun had this little enlightening nugget regarding a bizarre question and answer exchange:

While the entire Bonds transcript is worth a read, we particularly enjoyed his answer to a question posed by one juror about Greg Anderson, the athlete's beleaguered friend and trainer. "With all the money you make, have you ever thought of maybe building him a mansion or something?"

Bonds replied, "One, I'm black. And I'm keeping my money. And there's not too many rich black people in this world. And I'm keeping my money. There's more wealthy Asian people and Caucasian and white. There ain't that many rich black people. And I ain't giving my money up. That's why."

Nice, Barry, NICE!
