OUTED…and not of the closet. Italy's Danilo Di Luca should receive a maximum two-year ban for an irregular test during his victory at last year's Giro d'Italia, the Italian Olympic Committee's anti-doping prosecutor recommended Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008.The decision will now fall to an Olympic committee (CONI) judge.
CONI found hormone levels in Di Luca's system that normally correspond to a child, in a surprise test taken during the Giro.
The Italian Congress has launched an investigation.
