MARYLAND 73, Holy Cross (Crusaders, 2,817 students, Worcester, MA) 48

James Gist scored 22 points as Maryland routed a depleted Holy Cross squad 73-48 Tuesday night.

The Terps (10-6) were playing without starting guard Eric Hayes, but the Crusaders (9-4) were without several players including starters Pat Doherty and Alex Vander Baan.

By the time the first 12 minutes were over, however, it didn't much matter for either side after Maryland ran off a 20-0 run to put the Crusaders away early.

It was Maryland's fourth win in a row after three losses and their final non-conference game of the season.
