AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, we’re not kidding.

Scott Riddle isn’t transferring to Duke, but the Blue Devils did beat out Arizona State and Boise State to land a commitment from one of the top quarterback prospects in the country.

Sean Renfree of Scottsdale (Ariz.) Notre Dame High School is ranked among the top 15 high school quarterbacks by Scout.com and Rivals.com.

The 6-foot-3, 205 lbs. QB had committed to Georgia Tech on July 5 but changed his mind coach Chan Gailey was fired.

Renfree led Notre Dame to a 13-1 record and the Arizona 4-A Division II state championship. He completed 23 of 33 passes for 411 yards and five touchdowns in the 49-32 championship win over Cottonwood Mingus.

His 411 passing yards set the Arizona high school record for a championship game. He passed for 3,341 yards and 51 touchdowns in 2007.
