Two ACC teams lose at home to non-conference opponents...oops.

Ohio (Bobcats, 17,176 students, Athans, OH) 61. MARYLAND 55

Ohio handed the Terrapins their fourth non-conference home loss in the last 19 seasons, getting 15 points and 15 rebounds from Leon Williams in a stunning 61-55 victory Wednesday night.

Maryland was 131-3 at home against competition outside the Atlantic Coast Conference since Williams took over the program in 1989, including 50-2 since moving into the Comcast Center in 2002.

The losses were to Coppin State in 1989, Florida in 2002 and Manhattan in the 2006 NIT. (AP Photo/Nick Wass)

Massachusetts (Minutemen, 19,934 students, Amherst, MA) 83, BOSTON COLLEGE 80

Ricky Harris matched his career-high with 25 points and Gary Forbes scored 10 of his 22 in the closing five minutes to lift Massachusetts to an 83-80 win over Boston College Wednesday night in the 13th annual Commonwealth Classic.

The win snapped an eight-game losing streak for UMass (7-2) against its cross-state rivals. The Minutemen nearly squandered a 15-point lead in the closing 10 1/2 minutes, but Forbes helped them hang on.

Tyrese Rice led the Eagles (7-2) with 26 points and John Oates added 11 and eight rebounds.
