VERY BAD THINGS, PARTS I, II, III, IV...INFINITY

Did you wake up this morning and say, “Wow, I’m glad I’m not Arthur Blank?”

If you didn’t, you should have.

Mind you, the Home Depot co-founder is super rich ($1.3 billion) and owns two pro-sports teams, which doesn’t suck…but, if you’re looking to celebrate New Year’s Eve with somebody who’s going to be enthusiastic about saying adios to ‘07, Blank is your man.

His 2007 has been awful, and yesterday was the chocolate chip on top of the cherry on top of the whipped cream on top of ice cream on top of the icing on Blank’s already crappy cake.

The Falcons owner now has no franchise quarterback, and no coach as head man Bobby Petrino is headed to Arkansas...as in headed to Fayetville right now. He up and quit with three games left.

Prior to the season, the Flacons gave back-up QB Wahoo Matt Schaub away for next to nothing. The Falcons are now 3-10.

Well, at least he’s not spending, as John Prine once said, Christmas in prison...

“It’s Christmas in prison, and the food is real good…
They got turkey and pistols carved out of wood.”

Probably got the wood at Home Depot, so it’s not all bad…
