Scott Riddle keeps rolling along, leading Elon to a 36-33 double OT win over ranked Georgia Southern. Surely, his arm is tired as the Phoenix put up -19 yards rushing. Riddle connected on 26 of 48 passes for 303 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions.

Last week, Riddle paced the Southern Conference and ranked fourth in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision with 320.2 passing yards per contest. He led both the SoCon and the country with 30.2 completions per game. He topped the conference and is tied for sixth in the country in total offense with 321.8 net yards per game. The Phoenix signal caller led the league and ranked second in the nation in “points responsible for” with 22.4 points per contest.

Riddle ranks second in the SoCon and 21st nationally in passing efficiency with a 144.3 rating.
